Austin Happy Hour List began in 2017 as a small project to keep track of where to find a good happy hour around town. Each entry was added by hand, organized by neighborhood, and written in the same simple format: where, when, what’s cheap to eat, what’s cheap to drink.

The list was actively maintained through 2020. It hasn’t been kept up since. Austin moves fast, and many of these places have closed, changed hands, or quietly retired their happy hours. Some are still going strong.

What you’re looking at now is an archive — a record of what Austin happy hour looked like across those years, presented in a quieter, easier-to-read form than its original WordPress incarnation. Treat the times and prices as a starting point. Call ahead.
